Meinhardt is in JV with another consultant for investigation, design and construction of a dual 2-lane trunk road connecting with the Central Kowloon Route at the north apron area of KTD and the Tseung Kwan O – Lam Tin Tunnel at Cha Kwo Ling. The Trunk Road is approx. 3.4km long of which about 2.6km is planned to be cut and cover and TBM tunnel. EIA to be achieved are providing a reasoned and supported description of any adverse environmental consequences of the project; identifying cumulative impacts from the proposed projects in the Study Area; identify the constraints on the project to minimise near and far field environmental impacts and determining the mitigation measures and the residual impacts even having the mitigation measures.
